ABOUT RAIN CITY CAMERA SUPPORT

Rain City Camera Support began in Vancouver, BC when two camera assistants, Aaron Haesler and Leigh Jenkins, decided there was a need in our city, a booming film and television community, for camera carts the way we like them - with rain covers.

Our first product, the 52” Cart, is not unlike many other large camera carts on film sets in Vancouver. Camera assistants have used carts just like these here for many years. The reason we decided to manufacture this cart is because there hasn't been a dedicated camera cart supplier in this city until now.

As a camera assistant, it's not always practical or convenient to find someone to fabricate a custom cart and then have a rain cover sewn.

We wanted to offer Vancouver camera assistants a collapsible style camera cart with the same familiar style seen in the many varied custom camera carts already in use in the city.
